Ty Bradle, a recent Hamilton Southeastern graduate, is flying to the home of the Cardinals.

The Royals football and baseball star announced Thursday on Twitter that he will be attending Ball State University “to further my academic and athletic career. Ready to work,” he said.

Before making the announcement, Bradle said that much had transpired “over the last several months that has resulted in new opportunities and a change of heart.” Bradle had committed to Lincoln Trail College before making the switch to Ball State.

One of the Reporter’s Baseball Players of the Year, Bradle was a two-way star for Southeastern, leading the team to regional championships during the 2022-23 school year in both football and baseball. Bradle was 9-1 as a Royals pitcher with 97 strikeouts and a 1.00 earned-run average.
