Don’t let Cicero’s sleepy little lake town demeanor fool you – when it’s time to throw America a party, they pack the streets with flags, floats, golf carts, tractors, funny cars, classic cars, wagons, horses, and pretty much anything that will carry, pull, or pace a person down the road. There were a lot of July 4 parades around the county, but this small town rivals any city when it comes to good old-fashioned Midwestern spirit.
