- Executive Director of Learning Dr. Jennifer Wheat-Townsend updated the board on the use of federal emergency relief funds given during the pandemic. The district is using these funds for a variety of academic support and mentoring programs.
- The board appointed Julie Thacker as the district’s new Executive Director of Student Services and Rob Williamson as the new Director of Transportation.
- Annual updates to student handbooks were approved by a vote of 3-1, with Laura Alerding voting against the handbooks. Alerding stated that she had concerns about wording in the district’s mission and vision statements, which appear in the handbooks.
- Board member Misti Ray was absent.
