Noblesville’s Pleasant Street project brings more road closures & detours

Graphic provided by City of Noblesville

Beginning in June, additional road closures will begin due to the construction of the Pleasant Street project.

Access will be maintained to all property owners during the closures. The official detour route may be used during the entirety of the closures. The detour route is designed to remain consistent throughout all road closures during the 2023 construction season.

Temporary signals will be added on Hannibal Street at the intersections of 8th and 10th streets. Traffic is anticipated to settle into regular patterns over a period of about two weeks, during which the project team will monitor the detour route. Adjustments may be made during or after the two-week period if required.

The following closures will begin in June:

  • Temporary Closure of 8th Street between Mulberry Street & Washington Street (150 days)
  • Temporary Closure of Pleasant Street between 6th Street & 9th Street (150 days)
  • Temporary Closure of alley between 8th Street & 9th Street at Pleasant Street (150 days)
  • Permanent Closure of Walnut Street at 8th Street
  • Permanent Closure of 7th Street at Pleasant Street

Affected residents and businesses are encouraged to contact Noblesville City Engineer Alison Krupski at akrupski@noblesville.in.us, or Cory Mahan of CHA Consultants at cmahan@chacompanies.com or (317) 997-2327. CHA Consultants is overseeing the project construction.
