12 local students make Iowa State dean’s list

More than 10,800 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the fall semester 2023 Dean’s List.

Among those are 12 Hamilton County students. They are:

  • Arcadia: Blake A. Webel, Year 4, Animal Science
  • Carmel: Lexie Elise Balkema, Year 4, Biology; Megan Elizabeth Colosi, Year 4, Interior Design; Sarah Elizabeth Thiel, Year 1, Biology; Isabelle Woodward, Year 4, Entrepreneurship; and Adam Zeitlin, Year 4, Civil Engineering
  • Fishers: Ella Pauline Case, Year 2, Biology (AGLS); Morgan E. Reigeluth, Year 4, Interior Design; Zachary T. Steinmetz, Year 4, Genetics (AGLS); Samuel Christopher Syrus, Year 4, Computer Science; and Lillianna Grace Touhey, 2, Business Undeclared
  • Noblesville: Joshua Paul Steffen, Year 2, Aerospace Engineering

Students named to the Dean’s List must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.
