The Westfield Library Foundation (WLF) will hold a Pickleball Tournament on Thursday, Aug. 22 at the Bridgewater Club in Westfield. Organizers hope to raise $20,000 in support of the Westfield Washington Public Library.

“We are very excited to host our second annual event,” WLF Executive Director Erin Downey said. “Pickleball is so popular we thought a fundraising event built around a tournament would be something new and fun for our community.”

The tournament will be capped at 48 teams of two (96 individuals). There will be two morning and two afternoon sessions. Those interested in playing can register at WestfieldLibraryFoundation.com.

Five sponsorship levels, ranging from $5,000 to $750, are also available. Anyone interested in sponsoring the tournament is encouraged to contact Erin Downey at edowney@wwpl.lib.in.us.
