Wrestling: Royals reign at Mudsock

The Hamilton Southeastern boys wrestling team triumphed in the Mudsock dual meet, beating Fishers 36-29 at the Tiger Den.

The Royals won eight of the 14 matches. Nick Anderson won the 120-pound match with a pin, while Dylan Lane took the 145-pound bout by fall. Southeastern also picked up three technical falls, from Cale Beattie at 106, Chris Casler at 150 and Cohen Davis at 165. Matt Billet won the 138-pound match by a 16-7 major decision, with Will Lakes (at 113) and Landon Hicks (at 157) winning by decision.

Fishers had three victories by fall. Will Hruskoci got the pin at 126 and Chayce Yant followed him with a fall at 132. Chris Quarles won the 190-pound match with a pin.

Xavier Smith took the 175-pound match with a technical fall, and Evan Lawhead (at 215) and A.W. Vankirk (at 285) were decision winners.
