Wolfies Grill asks community to “roll-up” sleeves, donate blood

Wolfies Grill is proud to partner with Versiti Blood Center to hold a blood drive at its locations in Fishers, Noblesville and Indianapolis in response to the recent COVID-19 outbreak.

On Monday, Governor Holcomb requested all restaurants to temporarily close to dine-in customers and encouraged healthy Hoosiers to donate blood in response to the nationwide shortage. The American Red Cross noted on its website that the country faces “a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak. Healthy individuals are needed to donate now to help patients counting on lifesaving blood.”

“It’s time for our community to step up,” said Scott Wolf, owner of the Central Indiana-based restaurant group. “With so many discouraging stories lately, I wanted our family, staff and our customers to have the opportunity to be a part of something bigger and make a difference for others in our community.”

Helpful information:

  • The blood drive will be held this weekend is open to the public.
  • In order to adhere to the executive orders passed earlier this week, blood will be drawn in bloodmobiles stationed in the parking lot.
  • Anyone who donates blood will be able to take 20 percent off any carryout order at the respective Wolfies location.
