William Carl Heinzman, 83, Cicero, passed away on September 23, 2023, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville.
He was born on August 18, 1940, in Westfield to Robert Glen and Anna Pearl (Coverdale) Heinzman. He had lived most of his young life in the Noblesville area and was educated in the Noblesville school system.
He had worked for many years at Jenn-Air Corporation in Indianapolis with the machine repair division.
He married Helena Leota (Lucas) Heinzman who preceded him in death on January 12, 2013. In addition to his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Steven Heinzman; daughter, Joanna Champley; brother, David Heinzman; and a sister, Tresa Ann Green.
William was a man of faith and an active member of the Nazarene Church in Noblesville. His family was very important to him, and he loved being at their special events and reunions. His children and grandchildren related that he would always be there for them. He enjoyed fishing and camping and attending classic car shows. He also owned a classic car and greatly enjoyed restoring it.
Surviving him is his second wife, Mary (Dollar) Heinzman; granddaughter, Ashley Hall of Michigantown, Ind.; grandson, Michael Champley of Arcadia; great-grandkids, Steven James, Blain, Alyson, and Kamdin; brother, Ronald (Darlene) Heinzman of Cookeville, Tenn.; and son-in-law, Aaron Champley of Arcadia.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Hartley Funeral Home Cicero Chapel, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero, with burial to follow at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville. A time of visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of the services.
