William ‘Bill’ James Savin, 73, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on July 4, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
He had worked for Lantz Medical as a medical device technician, and had retired from Product Action, where he had been a machinist. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and was a member of the Noblesville American Legion. Bill was an avid hunter and fisherman and was an antique fishing lure collector.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pat (Johnson) Savin; three children, Jason (Joellen) Savin, Matthew (Emily) Savin and Jenny (Tyler Johnson) Savin; three grandchildren, Abigail, Jason Jr. and Charlotte; brother-in-law, Hector Cervera; brothers and sister-in-laws, Sue & Larry Pals, Jim & Linda Johnson, Bill & Ruthann Johnson, Ron & Mary Coletti and Mike & Suzanne Johnson; and several nieces & nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores Savin; and his sister, Harriet Cervera.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation beginning at 11 a.m.
