Carmel’s girls dropped a 79-45 game at Lawrence North on Tuesday.
The Wildcats, ranked No. 6 in both the Class 4A Associated Press and IBCA polls, outscored the Greyhounds in each quarter, leading 17-13 after one. Lawrence North then went up 37-25 at halftime and outscored Carmel 42-20 in the second half.
Izzy Shepherd led the Greyhounds with 18 points, including three 3-pointers. Mackenzie Woods added 11 points.
Carmel is 4-4 and plays Saturday afternoon at Richmond.
