Where to park for this weekend’s Indiana Peony Festival

You asked and we’ve answered – over the past year, we’ve worked closely with Noblesville’s public safety team to tackle a plan to accommodate every single festival goer for this year’s Indiana Peony Festival. Here’s your one-stop-shop for everything you need to know to get to Noblesville and Seminary Park.

State Road 32 construction

As is the case with most cities in the Midwest, it’s construction season in Noblesville! The most impactful project that you may notice getting to the festival is INDOT’s closure of SR 32 for reconstruction. On the day of the festival, SR 32 will be closed from 15th Street through 9th Street.

Plentiful peony parking

As you can see in the map at this link, there are so many parking options around downtown Noblesville for you to consider, depending on the direction in which you’re coming into Noblesville.

• Parking Garages: The Levinson (#11), the County (#12), and the Federal Hill Parking Garages (#13) will all be open, accessible to visitors the day of the festival, and free all day long without limit!
• On-Street Parking: If you find a spot on a street in downtown Noblesville, it’s yours. These spots are free to use as long as you’d like, so far as you are far enough from intersections and fire hydrants.
• NEW … Shuttle Lots: New to this year’s festival, we’ve partnered with The Lacy Arts Building and Janus Developmental Services to provide additional parking lots with complimentary shuttles blocks away from the Peony Festival. The shuttles will frequently visit Stony Creek Elementary (#5), the Firestone Lots (#4), and Ivy Tech (#6) throughout the day. • Other Surface Lots: We also have secured additional parking options in private and public lots near downtown Noblesville. These lots include CCHA Law (#1), City Hall (#2), the Mill Top (#3), Hamilton County Lot 1 (#7) and the City’s Gold (#8), Orange (#9), and Purple (#10) lots. The City’s Employee Lot (#14) will strictly be used for attendees needing accessible parking.

Expanded pedestrian experience

Over the last few years, visitors to the Indiana Peony Festival have shared their desire to see enhanced pedestrian access to Seminary Park and to downtown Noblesville. This year, we’re excited to share that we’ve partnered with public safety to expand our footprint and close part of 10th Street to provide more space in Seminary Park for floral installations and for vendors along 10th Street. On the map, you’ll see where 10th Street is closed (approximately from Cherry to Mulberry).

What’s the best way to walk downtown Noblesville?

On the day of the festival, we’ll have bright colorful peonies painted on the ground guiding the way to and from downtown Noblesville! The Peonies will take you up 10th Street, across Maple, up 9th and through the quaintest alley. The pedestrian walkway is marked with a yellow person on the map included above and available at this link.
