What to know about upcoming full closure along 96th Street

As part of the final phase of the Nickel Plate Trail Pedestrian Bridge project, a full closure along 96th Street, between Hauge Road and Masters Road, will take place as crews complete the final roadway reconstruction work, marking one of the last major steps before the Nickel Plate Bridge opens in December.

What to expect

  • Full closure of 96th Street at the Nickel Plate Trail (between Hague and Masters)
  • Dates: 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7 through Sunday, Nov. 16
  • Work hours: Approximately 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday

Access & detours

  • Access to all nearby businesses will remain open.
  • Detour routes will be clearly marked to help drivers reach destinations in the area.
