The Charters of Freedom – replicas of our country’s founding documents – will be unveiled to the public during a dedication ceremony at 7:30 p.m. this evening at Federal Hill Commons in Noblesville. The Hamilton County Charters of Freedom was made possible through a partnership with educational nonprofit Foundation Forward.

Noblesville Mayor John Ditslear will be joined by Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks, Foundation Forward founders Vance and Mary Jo Patterson, other city and county elected officials, and members of the Noblesville American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Daughters of the American Revolution.

The dedication will be held prior to the free concert by Separate Ways, a Journey tribute band, at Federal Hill Commons. The patriotic ceremony will include the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Daughters of the American Revolution and speeches from Foundation Forward founders Vance and Mary Jo Patterson and other dignitaries. The ceremony includes a cannon volley, which residents should be aware of in case they are near the venue and hear the noise.
