Come out and “Melt the Trail” for the eighth annual winter 5K race on Saturday, Feb. 26. The event will feature a new route over the Monon Bridge at State Road 32. The race will kick off at 10:30 a.m. at the Grand Junction Brewing Co. Taproom, 1189 E. 181st St., Westfield, and make its way through Westfield on the Monon Trail.
Register today at meltthetrail.com. The race fee is $35, plus a $2.45 signup fee. The price will increase after Feb. 12, so get registered today.
Registration will include a long sleeve race shirt, finisher’s medal, post-race snacks and drinks, one free drink ticket (for those ages 21 and over), a timed route, and a chance to win an award. After the race, there will be food available for purchase from the BBQ Yard at Grand Junction.
