Westfield Welcome has announced a new program at Grand Junction Plaza. Movies in the Plaza, sponsored by Community First Bank, will be a free series that provides fun for the whole family.
Movies in the Plaza will kick off on Earth Day, April 22, with Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax and will continue every fourth Friday through October. Additional special screenings will take place throughout the year.
“We are excited to introduce this programming to the Plaza. We hope that the community will join us for these free evenings of entertainment with their family and friends,” Mayor Andy Cook said. “We are grateful to sponsors like Community First Bank that see the value of community events and are engaged with our residents. We also look forward to hearing residents’ ideas on what type of programming they would like to see in this unique and incredible facility.”
Movies will begin at dusk on the Great Lawn at Grand Junction Plaza. More details will be available on the Westfield Welcome Facebook page.
