Westfield Washington Township has engaged with Hedges Consulting, a central Indiana-based firm, to provide a four-part training series for Hamilton County nonprofits that serve the Westfield community.

This training series will offer sessions on building capacity for the organization in the areas of Program & Impact, Leadership & Culture, Marketing & Communications, and Development.

“We are excited to provide this training to Hamilton County nonprofits through the support of Westfield Washington Township,” explained Jodi Snell, Director of Strategy & Impact with Hedges. “This is the second cohort that has gone through the training series and it has been wonderful to engage with the organizations in a way that allows them to build capacity. They are a very collaborative group of organizations, and the series has allowed for us to bring best practices to them and for them to learn from their peers.”

Westfield Washington Township welcomes the following nonprofits participating in this session: The Cooper House, Family Promise, HAND, Inc., Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank, Prevail, Riverview Health Foundation, Trinity Free Clinic, Wellbeing Collation of Westfield, and Women of Westfield.

“This provides our partnering nonprofits an opportunity for further training that they otherwise couldn’t afford on their own,” Township Trustee Danielle Carey Tolan said. “I love watching the agencies grow and learn from this series and from each other.”

Township officials look forward to continuing the partnerships that have been cultivated with the nonprofit organizations serving Westfield Washington Township and Hamilton County residents.
