Westfield Washington Schools providing free lunches this summer

In accordance with the Summer Food Service Program, Westfield Washington Schools (WWS) will serve free meals to all children 18 years of age and under as well as to persons over 18 who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled.

Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. through July 31 at Monon Trail Elementary School, 19400 Tomlinson Road, Westfield.

Free meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all participants. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

In accordance with federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, WWS is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, age, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity.

Meals will be provided at a first-come, first-serve basis.
