Westfield Washington Schools opens 2021-22 registration

New student registration for the 2021-22 school year is now open at Westfield Washington Schools.

Students who will be five years old on or before Aug. 1, 2021 are eligible to register for kindergarten. Information and registration instructions are available on the Westfield Washington Schools website and should be submitted electronically. If you need access or assistance signing up, contact your local school or call the district office at (317) 867-8002.

“Our number one goal is to be able to safely bring back our students and staff, full-time, five days-a-week for next school year,” said Interim Superintendent Chris Baldwin. “Our ability to successfully return full-time rests solely on the COVID situation over the summer and heading into the school year as well as the recommendations of local and state health officials.”

Below is a list of what you will need to register:

  • Original birth certificate (from a country/county of birth health department)
  • Driver’s License
  • Current immunization records
  • Proof of residency (current occupancy with name and address)
  • Renting: Rental/lease agreement or utility bill (gas, electric, etc.)
  • Own/purchasing a home: Current tax statement, settlement statement, warranty deed, purchase agreement/builder’s contract (settlement statement must be provided within 30 days of closing)
  • Name and address of previous school (if applicable)
  • Guardianship/custody papers (if applicable)
  • IEP/Individualized Education Plan (if applicable)

Other information to have available when registering:

  • Emergency contact names and numbers
  • Parents’ work/cell numbers
