Westfield student speaks at Statehouse

House Bill 1380 was heard on Monday in the Indiana House Committee on Public Health. The bill was amended to change the age from 18 to 21 years old to buy tobacco products (E-cigarettes and Juuls included). Rep. Charlie Brown (D-Gary) was the author of the bill. Westfield High School sophomore Sydney Clifford was asked to speak by the American Cancer Society.  The committee voted unanimously to pass the bill.
