The City of Westfield has announced that Westfield Rocks the 4th, the city’s annual Independence Day celebration, will return to the Grand Park Sports Campus with an expanded celebration from Friday, July 2 through Sunday, July 4.
“After this past year, our community is ready to celebrate,” Mayor Andy Cook said. “More than ever before, it will be great to see our residents coming together for this annual event. Community events are part of what makes Westfield a desirable place to live and raise a family.”
The expanded event will run for three days this year and feature music, food and fun. Attendees can watch free concerts on the main stage all three days. Local food and drink vendors will be onsite featuring some Indiana classics and county fair favorites. Additionally, Frank’s Franks will play host the fifth annual Westfield hot dog eating contest. Tickets can be purchased for the Kids Zone, which will feature attractions for children of all ages, on the city’s website. The event will end on the evening of July 4 with a firework display.
“Westfield Rocks the 4th is our largest and most-loved event,” said Director of Westfield Welcome and Events Angie Frazier. “We are excited to bring this event back this year, bigger and better than ever, for the community to enjoy.”
Along with Westfield Rocks the 4th, the city will also offer other community events this summer including the Westfield Cycling Adventure, Simon Summer Sledding and the Westfield Rocks Adventure scavenger hunt.
