Monday evening the Westfield City Council approved the Haworth Business Park Planned Unit Development District ordinance. This ordinance will help fill the demand of businesses wanting to build or relocate to Westfield.
“Currently Westfield has very low inventory of land that has been zoned industrial,” said Mayor Andy Cook. “This approval offers opportunity for more commercial development which will diversify the tax base.”
The rezoned area is approximately 40 acres of land located on the southeast corner of 169th Street and Oak Ridge Road. The area was rezoned from agriculture to enclosed industrial. It will continue the industrial development that already exists with the adjacent South Park Business Park.
If you’re interested in relocating contact Westfield’s Economic and Community Development Department at (317) 804-3170 or by visiting the department’s website.
