At 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Westfield police officers were dispatched to the Union Flats Apartments, located in the 600 block of South Union Street, on a report of a suspicious person.
A 10-year-old girl reported that she was walking her dog and was approached by an unknown African American male after he exited a white sports car and touched her arm.
The male was described as being possibly intoxicated, between the ages of 20 and 40, 6’2” to 6’4” tall and weighing 170 to 190 pounds. He was reportedly wearing a black beanie-style hat, sunglasses, black basketball shorts, a red tank top, and black and white Adidas basketball shoes.
