Westfield Parks & Recreation names Board of Directors

The City of Westfield’s Parks and Recreation Department announced on Tuesday the appointment of its inaugural Board of Directors, bringing together a diverse group of community leaders dedicated to enhancing the city’s recreational opportunities and green spaces.

The Board of Directors comprises community individuals with a deep commitment to community service and a shared passion for promoting health, wellness, and leisure activities for residents of all ages.

The newly appointed members of the Board of Directors are:

Mayoral Appointees

  • Mike Antrim
  • Kurtis Baumgartner
  • Julia Grimmer
  • LeAnne Zentz

School Board Appointee

  • Mike Hall

Each member of the board brings a unique set of skills and experiences that will contribute to the strategic direction and success of Westfield Parks and Recreation. Their combined expertise in areas such as community engagement, law, strategic planning, and recreation programming will be invaluable as the organization continues to serve the community and enhance recreational offerings.

The Westfield Parks and Recreation Board of Directors will be onboarded and have their first meeting in mid-June, with all board members starting on staggered terms to promote institutional knowledge and retention throughout their tenure.
