Westfield Lions show support for Australian wildlife relief

At its regular business meeting this month, the Westfield Lions Club announced the donation of $2,000 to the Lions Clubs International Foundation’s Australian Wildlife Relief Program.

The Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), was founded in 1968 with the mission to support the efforts of local Lions Clubs, both locally and globally. The Australian Wildlife Relief Program is part of LCIF’s global environmental causes measures to sustainably protect and restore the environment and to improve the well-being of all communities.

The Westfield Lions Club is one of over 48,000 local chapters, with 1.4 million members around the world in more than 200 countries. The motto of all Lions Clubs is “We Serve.”

The LCIF is active in five general causes: Vision, diabetes, hunger, Environment and childhood cancer.
