On Saturday, May 3, the Westfield Lions will hold a public open house for their recently renovated community center at 1101 E. 169th St. The open house will run from 9 to 11 a.m. and include tours of the facility, along with coffee and muffins.
The community center includes an expanded main room, ADA-compliant bathrooms, commercial kitchen, coffee bar, conference room, and tables and chairs for renters. The capacity of the building is set at 100 people and is a great option for wedding and baby showers, graduation parties, and anniversary celebrations.

Westfield has been growing at a tremendous pace, and this has created a lack of affordable rental options for its citizens. When the Lions were forced to relocate from their previous facility, they specifically began forming plans to address this issue. With this focus the Lions designed and renovated their new building to include attractive features and be reasonably priced for renters.
Along with tours of the community center, the Lions will also provide information on their mission, what they do for the community, and how to become a Lion. The Westfield Lions have been serving the citizens of Westfield since 1930 and continue to be an active community resource.
