Westfield Mayor Scott Willis and Westfield Chamber President Courtney Albright joined leaders from Leo Brown Group and Traditions Senior Living at the ceremonial groundbreaking on Tuesday, Oct. 29 for Traditions of Westfield, a 147-unit senior living community, planned to open in spring of 2026 and bringing up to 80 full-time jobs to the community.

The future site of Traditions of Westfield will be at 17939 Dartown Road. That’s just north of State Road 32.

Leo Brown Group, a leading developer, owner, and operator of senior living properties in the Midwest, will build Traditions of Westfield on a 20-acre site which could allow for a significant expansion of the campus at a future date. The community will offer multiple living options and levels of care. Residents will be able to age-in-place with independent living, assisted living, and, if needed, a secured memory care component for those residents with Alzheimer’s or other forms of age-associated memory impairment.

The community is close to walking trails, restaurants, shopping, hotels, multifamily housing, entertainment, and the 400-acre Grand Park Sports Campus, which attracts over 1.5 million guests annually and is home to the Indianapolis Colts training camp.

Through its management company affiliate, Traditions Management, Leo Brown Group will run the day-to-day operations of Traditions of Westfield. Future residents will enjoy substantial service offerings and amenities, which include a dedicated 24-hour nursing staff, emergency response systems, scheduled transportation to doctor appointments and shopping, organized trips and off-site activities, restaurant-style fine dining, casual dining, an outdoor rooftop lounge, fitness center, beauty salon/barber, library, chapel, outdoor gathering areas, along with daily on-site recreational activities and events.
