As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the Westfield community, the Kiwanis Club of Westfield provided funds to three charitable organizations during the Nov. 1 club meeting.
Donation checks were presented to Kids Coats of Hamilton County, Student Impact of Westfield, and Open Doors.
Hamilton County Kids Coats partners with local communities to provide coats and winter wear for families and connect those families to community resources, prayer opportunities, and churches near where they live.
Student Impact of Westfield has an after-school location providing a place where students can come hang out with friends, work on homework, play games and eat, eat, eat. The staff and volunteers aim to be positive Christian role models who help guide and mold young men and women to be responsible, giving, and kind adults.
Open Doors of Washington Township works to improve the quality of life for township residents through food and clothing assistance, referral to community services, and spiritual guidance.
The Kiwanis Club of Westfield is proud to support these organizations, and club members say they hope these donations can help improve lives.
Funds for these donations come largely from the Club’s Avenue of Flags project. To find out more about the program or sign up for 2023, please click here.
