The Westfield girls basketball team finished in third place at the Twin Lakes Tournament on Wednesday.
The Shamrocks fell to the host Indians in their semi-final game 43-30. Twin Lakes outscored Westfield in each quarter, leading 20-17 at halftime, then going up 32-23 after three periods.
Ellie Kelleher and Aubrey Crockett both scored eight points for the Rocks. Lindsey Van Dyke led the rebounds with eight, while Kelleher collected seven.
Westfield rebounded nicely in the third-place game, sailing past Rochester 45-23. The Shamrocks led 12-5 after one quarter, then dominated the second period, outscoring the Zebras 17-3 for a 29-8 halftime lead. Westfield kept its lead around that margin in the second half.
Kelleher and Van Dyke both scored 10 points. Van Dyke and Kiki Loveless both pulled five rebounds, while Kelleher handed out four assists.
The Shamrocks are 9-7 and return home to CSI Gymnasium next Wednesday, Jan. 4, host Bishop Chatard.
