Westfield Education Foundation (WEF) has awarded 38 scholarships and awards worth $55,200 to Westfield High School students.

WEF Scholarships are funded through generous donors and local community partners. Scholarships were awarded to students based on high achieving academics, leadership through mentoring, community service, or for demonstrating the 5 Guiding Principles: Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Compassion, and Hard Work.

In 2020-2021, WEF honored Carl M. Steele through the Casting Bright Futures Memorial Scholarship. Mr. Steele loved to fish, which led his family to honor him through a scholarship to an angler.

Since 1986, WEF has awarded $1,056,295 to Westfield Washington Schools students to support their futures. WEF’s mission is working to empower and invest in Westfield students, teachers, and staff. Scholarships and grants provide opportunities through generous community partner resources, which drive the future of Westfield. WEF will open its online grant application to Westfield Washington Schools staff on June 9.

WEF congratulates the Class of 2021. To all donors and community partners, thank you for your support.
