Last week, over 50 people gathered to attend the Westfield Democrats Club’s annual January event. It was an impressive turnout for a non-election year, especially considering the bitterly cold weather.
The theme this year was “Building Blue,” and the club was joined by outgoing Indiana Democratic Party Chair Mike Schmuhl. He spoke about what he believes needs to be done at both a federal and state level to move towards positive political change for all Hoosiers, encouraging attendees to get involved with their time, talent, and treasure.
The Westfield Democrats Club hosts many events throughout the year to help build community and to support quality candidates and progressive legislation.
