Westfield city officials will cut the ribbon Friday on a new extension of East Street north of 196th Street. Officials say this federally-funded roadway alignment project from 196th Street to State Road 38 will improve connectivity and accessibility through the area and will enhance the safety of the State Road 38 corridor.
Join Westfield Mayor Andy Cook, city officials, projects managers and local business at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1 along the new East Street. Parking and the ribbon cutting area will be set up just north of the Carrington Mortgage Services parking lot.
