We’d have written a headline, but they clearly don’t want one for this podcast

Ever wondered what fuels people’s passions beyond the 9-to-5 grind?

Join artist Scott Osborne and actor Cindy Collins each week as they explore how professionals find joy outside of work and discover new ways to live a more fulfilling existence as they present a new podcast: No Title Needed.

This podcast, which will air Mondays at 8 a.m., will celebrate the pleasures and passions that enrich folks’ lives.

Episode No. 1 features Magdalena Hoyos-Segovia, owner of Magdalena Gallery of Arts in Carmel. Hear about her art background and international heritage. She also discusses her teaching outlets and her fascination in seeing how kids develop their art. She herself has learned over the years how to best instruct students by being supportive and knowing how to work with each of them.

Hoyos-Segovia says she is proud to teach artists of the future and knows that by letting them experiment and possibly fail, they will grow as artists.

Her gallery is also her studio, so you can stop in to see her in action and check out the other artists featured there. Check it out at magdalenagallery.com.

For the ‘question of the week’ portion of the interview, learn what Hoyos-Segovia’s childhood hobby was that did not involve the arts, as well as the hosts’ hobbies.

She has worked with such artists as Ben Vereen, Sandy Duncan, Claude Akins, and Cyndi Lauper. A native of Livingston, N.J., and longtime resident of New York City, Collins has lived in Carmel since she helped found Actors Theatre of Indiana, now in its 20th season.

Scott Osborne is a Carmel native. After graduating from the Herron School of Art and Design in 2019, he began to explore creating art in almost every medium imaginable before finding his love of using found objects to create large, dynamic sculptures. He is especially fond of incorporating wood and metal into his art. He has been commissioned to do very large works for the City of Carmel and the Carmel Historical Society for its Butterfly Garden.

Osborne last year was invited to recreate the magic car from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for the stage production of the show at the Carmel Apprentice Theatre.

Each week, the podcast will be recorded inside Feinstein’s at Hotel Carmichael.

Next week, join No Title Needed to hear from Austin Gapinski about all things flowers, including everyone’s favorite fall blooms – mums! Plan to join every week as Collins and Osborne welcome a new guest for a celebration of the pleasures and passions that enrich their lives.
