Noblesville Schools will hold a “test drive a school bus” event from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 11 at the Noblesville Schools Transportation Center, 19790 Hague Road, Noblesville.
Attendees will be able to get behind the wheel of a school bus in the safety of a parking lot and learn what it’s really like to be a school bus driver, including paid training opportunities and benefit packages.
Participants must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age.
The event is designed to help Noblesville Schools recruit drivers. Bus routes have been impacted by staffing shortages and the district is currently looking to hire seven drivers.
