Carmel’s biggest holiday season event, the Christkindlmarkt, is actively recruiting volunteers to help with a number of positions at the Market. More than 300,000 attended the most recent market in 2019 and it was voted the No. 1 German Christmas Market in North America by USA Today. This is your chance to help the City of Carmel put on its best face for so many visitors. Here is what the Christkindlmarkt needs:
- Greeters
- Photo takers
- Survey administrators
- Volunteer services
- Kinderecke support (children’s activities)
- Docents – for people who have a real knowledge of German culture, heritage and holiday traditions
