The Sheridan volleyball team picked up a sweep at Irvington Prep Academy on Wednesday, 25-10, 25-15, 25-14.
Beth Adams led the Blackhawks’ serving with six aces; she totaled 16 service points in 18 attempts. Trinity Parkin had four aces, Meredith Krupp and Claudia Headlee both hit three, while Kenzie Garner and Nova Cross both served two. Garner had 10 service points on 15 attempts.
On offense, Parkin led the way with eight kills. Garner put down seven, while Shelby Eaton had four and Adams hit three. Cross dished out 22 assists.
Krupp totaled six digs on defense, with Eaton and Parkin both making five.
Sheridan is 8-5 for the season and hosts Carroll at 6 p.m. tonight in a varsity-only Hoosier Heartland Conference match. The Blackhawks will also conduct Teacher Appreciation Night ceremonies before the match.

In a Tuesday conference match, Sheridan beat Taylor in four sets, 25-15, 18-25, 25-17, 25-11.
Krupp served five aces, followed by Parkin with three and Garner with two. Krupp totaled 13 service points, followed by Headlee and Ali Pickard with 10 each.
Parkin hit a season-high 16 kills for the Blackhawks, while Garner had eight, Headlee hit five, Cross had four and Eaton put down three. Cross totaled a season-high 26 assists.
On defense, Parkin collected 12 digs, Krupp and Garner both had 11, Adam totaled seven, Pickard added six and Cross had five.
Sheridan is 2-1 in HHC play.

Westfield dropped a four-set match to New Castle on Wednesday, 25-21, 14-25, 25-23, 27-25.
Audrey Bassett, Carsyn Comer and Paige Rudolph all hit 10 kills for the Shamrocks, while Lilly Tucker made 14 digs.
Westfield plays at Noblesville tonight.
