The Westfield volleyball team defeated Muncie Central in straight sets, 25-21, 25-14, 25-10 Wednesday at The Rock.
Kenzie Daffinee put down 10 kills for the Shamrocks, with Kinsey McAfee hitting seven. McAfee also served five aces. Sarah Weglarz handed out 29 assists, while Bailey Mendler collected 23 digs.
The Shamrocks are 9-9 and play at Class 4A No. 4 Hamilton Southeastern at 6:30 p.m. tonight in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference match.
Hamilton Heights swept Tri-Central on Wednesday, 25-12, 25-14, 25-11.
Sydney Griffey hit three kills in the first set, while Kennedy Lewis put down eight kills in the third set. The Huskies host Lapel next Wednesday.
Guerin Catholic fell to 1A No. 1 Lafayette Central Catholic 25-17, 25-14, 25-20 on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles are 6-6 and host Bishop Chatard Saturday afternoon for a Circle City Conference match.
