The Fishers volleyball team prepared for its upcoming Mudsock match by sweeping Lawrence North 25-15, 25-16, 25-20 on Tuesday, marking its 10th win of the season.
Senior Mallory Hernandez pounded 15 kills for the Tigers, with junior Audrey Haworth hitting 11.
“Both upperclassmen scored on a wide variety of shots to keep the Wildcats guessing,” said Tigers coach Steven Peek. “Hernandez was first in blocks with two, both of which were solo blocks in transition, a sign of extreme focus.”
Rose Duffy handed out 32 assists, while Emma Rosenberg made 13 digs. Camryn Haworth served four aces, with Hernandez, Audrey Haworth and Robin Brown each serving two.
The Tigers will travel to Hamilton Southeastern on Thursday for the Mudsock match.
Hamilton Southeastern was swept by Yorktown 25-18, 25-18, 25-21 in a Tuesday home match.
The Royals were led by Lark Jones with six kills, while Taylor Shelton had seven kills. Grace Kane made 19 digs.
Southeastern is now 7-6 for the season. Next up is the Mudsock match, with HSE hosting Fishers on Thursday.
Sheridan swept Taylor 25-5, 25-12, 25-10 in a Tuesday night match.
The Blackhawks also won the junior varsity contest 25-8, 25-17. Sheridan hosts Carroll Thursday in a varsity-only match.
Noblesville lost a tough five-setter to McCutcheon Tuesday at The Mill, falling 25-18, 21-25, 17-25, 25-21, 15-12.

Carmel swept Ben Davis 25-7, 25-16, 25-4 in a Metropolitan Conference match Tuesday.
Elana Brueggemann led the Greyhounds with nine kills. Brueggemann also served two aces, as did Ava Lam. Sophie Oliphant made four digs. Carmel is now 6-11 for the season.
The ‘Hounds junior varsity won 25-6, 25-10, with the freshman team winning 25-9, 25-7.
Westfield cruised past Warren Central in straight sets, 25-8, 25-11, 25-9 on Tuesday.
Kinsey McAfee hit nine kills for the Shamrocks. Grace Weber served five aces, Hillary Mantel made one solo block and one block assist. Claire Hindman scooped up seven digs, and Caroline Sinicki dished out 20 assists.
University took care of Anderson Prep in straight sets Tuesday, 25-15, 25-18, 25-15.
Senior Clare Little led the way with 10 service aces.
