The Carmel volleyball team came back to beat Plainfield in four sets on Thursday, 23-25, 25-13, 25-9, 25-17.
Emily Waddell led the offense with 11 kills, while Jessica Pickett hit 10 kills. Addison Larsen hit nine kills, followed by Avery Carroll with eight and Lauren Evans with six. Lauren Evans also served six aces, with Carroll and Amanda Ailes each hitting two and Lauren Dossey serving one. Emerson Evans handed out 31 assists.
On defense, Pickett made seven blocks, followed by Waddell and Larsen both making two. Lauren Evans collected 14 digs and Emerson Evans had 11 digs.
The Greyhounds host McCutcheon Tuesday for their Pink Out game.

Westfield toughed out a five-set Hoosier Crossroads Conference win at Avon Thursday, 22-25, 27-25, 25-15, 16-25, 17-15.
The Shamrocks host Plainfield Saturday morning.
