The Fishers volleyball team won the Kokomo Invitational on Saturday.
The Tigers won four matches to claim the trophy, beating Richmond, Tindley, Warsaw and then Hamilton Southeastern 25-14, 25-17 in the championship match. Fishers totaled 118 digs, 107 kills and 32 aces for the tournament.
Freshman Camryn Haworth hit 17 kills, made 16 digs and served seven aces for the day. Senior Mallory Hernandez and junior Emma Rosenberg each served seven aces as well, with Hernandez putting down 39 kills and Rosenberg making 36 digs.
Junior Rose Duffy handed out 91 assists, served eight aces and made 16 digs as well.
Hamilton Heights had a tough day at the Cardinal Ritter Invitational on Saturday.
The Huskies lost their first match to the host Raiders, 24-26, 25-23, 17-15. Heights then fell to Mount Vernon 25-15, 25-18 and to Western Boone 25-20, 26-24.
Overall Tori Hayden ended the day with 27 kills and eight digs, Emma Knowles ended with 27 assists and 11 digs, and Ana Collar ended with 26 assists and 13 kills.
