Vivien Buhashe Zahiga, 23, Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023. He was born on December 1, 1999, in Congo, Africa.
Vivien immigrated to America from Congo on September 19, 2008. He loved to play basketball and playing soccer for Noblesville United Soccer. He loved playing with his siblings and going to the Boys and Girls Club. He was an artist and loved to draw. He loved life and had a lot of goals he wanted to achieve. He loved his family and friends and always showed a helping hand to others. He loved traveling and went on several youth mission trips. For several years, he was in the cast of the Hamilton County Passion Play, Behold the Lamb.
Vivien was always smiling and happy. He would make all of us laugh for hours until we cried. He was always making people laugh. His positive attitude radiated through everyone who came into contact with him. Vivien knew what he stood for and took care of the people he loved even when he didn’t have enough for himself. He will forever and always be remembered. He is gone but never forgotten.
He is survived by his parents, Deocard and Ernestine Zahiga; sisters, Furaha Katanga, Iyvette and Viorianne Zahiga; brothers, Guechrom, Gloire, and Didier Zahiga; an uncle, aunt, nieces, and loving friends.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. The service will follow at noon with Pastor Don Jennings II officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Noblesville.
