Westfield police have identified the two people killed in a head-on crash Thursday morning.
Theodore Scherer Jr., 61, and Rhonda Scherer, 51, a married couple from Indianapolis, died in the crash on State Road 32 near Mule Barn Road after a car crossed the centerline in a no-passing zone, police said Monday.
An adult and a juvenile from the other vehicle were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
On Monday, a reconstruction team continued to work to determine the cause and circumstances of the crash.
