The Noblesville Police Department has announced K9 Ika, who served NPD and the community alongside his partner officer Jerry Fenimore for nine years, has died.
Ika and Fenimore are responsible for hundreds of drug arrests, criminal apprehensions and countless hours spent educating the public about police K9s.
In the past several months, Ika’s health had declined. Recently a scan was completed which discovered cancer had spread to multiple locations in Ika’s body.
