Fishers firefighters were dispatched to Lynn Avenue late Monday morning on a reported structure fire with smoke showing and person trapped.
When firefighters arrived, they found a vehicle in the residence that had driven through the front of the home. The spinning tires of the vehicle in the house caused the smoke.
Firefighters quickly located a victim and the driver of the vehicle and moved them to safety. The second occupant of the residence had already escaped and called 911. A possible medical event occurred with the driver of the vehicle prior to crashing through the home.
Two occupants were in the room when the car crashed through the house.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department is conducting the investigation.
