The University girls opened defense of their Sectional 58 championship with an easy 82-17 win over the International School of Indiana Friday night at Bethesda Christian School.

All 12 Trailblazers scored, led by 18 points from Lindsey Syrek. University had balanced scoring with Jenna Blakley in double figures with 11 while Lily Snyder, Maddi Sears and Haley Tomlinson had eight points each.
