The W.P. Woods Award was established in 1995 to honor the first president of Lions International. Woods was an Indiana Lion from Evansville. The award is a way that Indiana Lions honor their dedicated Lions with a Hoosier Lion Award. This award was recently presented by President Joe Connerley to club member Dale Unger.
