The University girls golf team won the Pioneer Conference championship, which took place Thursday at Wood Wind Golf Club.
The Trailblazers scored 204, comfortably ahead of Greenwood Christian Academy’s 247. University’s Becky Williams was the medalist with a 40. The ‘Blazers also recognized their two varsity seniors, Meredith Rodgers and Kenzie Binford, before the match. Binford would tie her career-best nine-hole score at the meet.
