In the recent days, both House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, House Minority Whip Steve Scalise and NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer have released statements of support for Victoria Spartz’s campaign for Congress.

McCarthy said, “Victoria Spartz earned the Republican nomination by winning a 15-way primary with strong grassroots support and bold new ideas about how we can get our economy back on track. I am confident she will hold this seat, help us reclaim the majority, and be a tremendous representative for the Hoosiers in Indiana’s 5th Congressional District. Victoria has my complete endorsement, and I look forward to welcoming her to Congress next year.”

Scalise said, “I’m excited to endorse Victoria Spartz for Congress in Indiana’s 5th District. As a successful businesswoman who has actually lived under socialism, I know that Victoria will be an important voice in the conversation as House Republicans work to stop this dangerous ideology in its tracks. I look forward to welcoming Victoria Spartz to Congress next year!”

Emmer said, “Congratulations to Victoria Spartz on her primary win. As an immigrant from Ukraine she knows firsthand how socialism can destroy a nation and will always fight for freedom. She is a proven leader in Indiana, and I look forward to her win in November. That stands in stark contrast to Christina Hale who will support the socialist agenda of House Democrats instead of fighting for Hoosiers.”
