The third annual Tee Off for Tyler golf outing and fundraiser took place Monday at The Bridgewater Club. The Tyler Trent Foundation welcomed over 100 golfers who came together to raise money for child cancer research.

This year’s fundraising goal was $120,000, and due to the generosity of supporters before Monday’s event, Kelly & Tony Trent (Tyler’s parents) were able to present a check for $25,000 to the Riley Children’s Foundation during opening ceremonies.

Tyler Trent was a Purdue University student and football superfan. He died on Jan. 1, 2019, after fighting an aggressive form of bone cancer known as osteosarcoma. He donated several of his tumors for cancer research, which has led to additional advancements in the field. If you’d like to honor his legacy and donate to child cancer research, you can do so any time at TylerTrentFoundation.com.
