Construction recently began on two major building projects in the rapidly-progressing Carmel Midtown area.
Merchants Bank is building a new 137,000 square-foot corporate headquarters and office building on the southwest corner of Elm Street and the new Monon Boulevard. The building will contain 10,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space facing the Monon Greenway.
Across Elm/4th Street, Barrett & Stokely is building a mixed-use community to be named The Railyard at Midtown. This project will include 208 luxury apartments and 12,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space facing the Monon Greenway.
Both projects are scheduled to be substantially completed in 2019.
